There is power in words, actions, and unity in a community. The very definition of community is to share common interests and goals. Imagine the difference we could make if we were all unified around the things that make life healthier and happier. What if we all believed that each of us played an important role in our community? What if we all believed we were here to give something and not just receive something? What if we were all doing today for tomorrow? That’s exactly what For Tomorrow is all about.
Nearly half of all Americans have a family member or close friend with addiction. These are our neighbors, co-workers, family members, etc. This is our community who is hurting and in need of support in times of struggle. Margaret Mead once said, “Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world. For, indeed, that’s all who ever have.”
For Tomorrow is made up of caring people with a desire to change our world. We are active in the city of Alabaster, AL educating and empowering youth, families, and communities to eradicate drugs and prevent substance use. We truly believe that together, we can all make a difference today for tomorrow. Consider today how you can make a difference in the lives of others. Consider making a difference through the community of For Tomorrow. I would love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out at info@alabasterfortomorrow.com
